The American automobile catalog of models and the spare parts cars.com annually conducts similar researches and Toyota Camry becomes the winner the second year in a row. Only those cars can fight for rank of most “American”, the percent of which localization of production in the USA is not lower than 75% – at least three quarters of parts have to be made within the country.
Cars.com calculates index only for passenger models which are made and on sale in the market of the USA. It is curious that only eight cars from all variety of the USA presented on the market have got to this category, and there is no full-size pickup – neither Ford F-150, nor Chevrolet Silverado, Dodge Ram. Cars.com notes that despite increase in production of cars in the American market localization decreases – more and more spare parts, nodes and units bring the ready. In 2015 have made one and a half times more cars there – 12 million, and local parts there were only 7%.
